Hellions: The Hellions were young mutants enrolled in Emma Frost's Massachussetts Academy. They were trained in the use of their powers and used as a strike force by the Hellfire Club. Much of the time they came into conflict with the New Mutants, although the two teams settled into an almost friendly rivalry, rather than cold hatred. After the New Mutants were returned to life at the end of the Secret Wars, they were unable to cope with their previous though unknown deaths. Through manipulation by Emma Frost and Empath, Magneto closed down xavier's and all the students except Dani and Warlock were transferred. The Hellions were later killed by Trevor Fitzroy during an unsuccessful peace conference with the X-Men. Thunderbird and Empath however were not killed with the others having left the Hellions previously, Empath was with Magma at the time in Nova Roma by order of Emma.

New Hellions: Formed by Chris Aaronson, the long-lost brother of X-Force's Jesse Aaronson, and himself once a prospective Hellions recruit, this group has little in common with the original Hellions, though former Hellions Tarot and Magma are members. In their first meeting with X-Force, the New Hellions gave the heroes a pretty good beating, and then took control of their bodies to help resurrect the Armageddon Man, one of the earliest and most powerful mutants, whom they planned to use to hold the United States for ransom. Also among their numbers is former X-Force and MLF member, Feral.

Mutant Liberation Front (MLF): Upon her return from Asgard following the second trip, Dani was recruited for the second version of the MLF by Reignfire who Dani believed was Roberto Da Costa. Aloof from the main part of the group, Dani formed a friendship with only one member of the group Michael McCain, Forearm. Sometime during her membership with the MLF, Dani became an operative for SHIELD working to stop the group. On numerous occasions her decisions helped defeat the MLF thought not openly. When the MLF came across Zero Tolerance while on a mission, X-Force came to rescue Dani thanks to a tip from SHIELD. After this rescue Dani left the MLF and joined X-Force.

Hela: The Asgardian Goddess of Death whom Dani formerly served while one of the Valkyrior. With her mortal blood, Hela hoped to add the dead of Midgard to her armies when she made a bid to take over Asgard while Odin slept. Transforming Dani and the other Valkyrie into monsters under her control, Dani was given a magical sword to kill Odin, however at the last minute she resisted the spell and Hela was defeated. For this and other defeats when Hela chose to claim the dead, Hela is one of Dani's enemies and claims ownership to her soul.

Selene: Selene is a mutant immortal with many abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, control of inanimate objects and elements like fire, plus various magical abilities. Her most deadly ability, however, is energy-draining, which she can do with a simple touch. She created the Brazilian paradise of Nova Roma and forced the minds of those she brought there to worship and sustain her to believe that they were the descendants of a colony of the Roman Empire. It was while in Nova Roma that Dani and Selene first crossed paths, Selene would have Dani serve her as a successor or perish however in recent years Dani has crossed paths with her several more times foiling her plans. As a result Selene, recently turned Dani over to Mephisto and she was only released because Hela claimed prior ownership to the Cheyenne sue to her Asgardian blood.
